  • If you are not using the 5G phone

All 5G services — whether it’s from Jio or Airtel -can operate only on phones with 5G. This means that those who have 5 G-equipped smartphones will be the only ones to receive Jio 5G service. It should be remembered that not all phones with 5G can run Jio’s five-G service. In order for 5G devices to be able to run Jio 5G successfully, OEMs will first need to release OTA updates to the handset to ensure that it can seamlessly connect to the 5G network. Look through the complete list of phones running 5G of different brands capable of running Jio 5G with ease.

If you’re stuck with a 3G phone or the 4G version of a phone, or not compatible 5G phone, then you won’t be able to make use of 5G. Users of 5G phones should go to the Settings menu and verify if there are any updated versions out there.
